If you set it to never mark as unread unless replying, forwarding, or clicking open, it still marks mail as unread if you delete or manually move it to trash. I would like it to stay unread so that the counter indicates it's in the folder. That way, if I accidentally delete something I can still find it. Thanks for an otherwise great program that makes it possible to use Mail. Otherwise, it would be back to Entourage!
