Only after a normal software update from apple was a notice given that TruePreivew was not compatible with the newly installed update to OS 10.6.4 (Mail 4.3 after update). Is there a Fix to allow TruePreview to keep working?
Installing TruePreview 1.5
Perhaps I created this problem by stumbling around trying to recapture TruePreview functionality after an Apple update removed it, but I could not successfully install TruePreview 1.5 until I discovered and deleted version 1.4 from ~Library/Mail/Bundles. After trashing the old, version 1.5 installed.
You shouldn't have to remove
You shouldn't have to remove the old version. In all of my tests, I install the new version over the old one. Did it give any error messages?
The problem may have been my
The problem may have been my fault. Before I discovered your new version, I first tried to reinstall v1.4 which still lived in my Downloads folder. This may have created a new Bundles folder that got in the way. Had I been smart enough to go to look for your new version first, it probably would have been a smooth exercise.
